We left the Wal-Mart, which by the way was Josh's favorite Camping stop so far. He loved the ease of parking, no setup and right to bed.
Check-in at the Pikes Peak Campground wasn't until 3 PM, so we made an out of the way stop at the Royal Gorge Bridge and did a little sightseeing. Josh's take on this adventure was, "Dad, this is the Busch Gardens of Colorado". Afterwards it was off to Pikes Peak Campground where we met the Laundry Warden. Laundry done by 10PM or it gets locked in for the night. I got stuff in my bedroom drying as I write. Also, Pikes Peak is the first place that we had WiFi Access - so I ended up putting everything on here to cover everything since we left home. I am sure I will have to edit some of these posts later.

That's a pretty big smile on Mom's face. I can just imagine how it feels to see that kind of stuff for the first time. Amazing...
I hope she didn't go over the 10 MPH speed limit. ;-)
Sharen you know me, I walk as slow as a turtle. The Big Smile was for the challenge I made to myself-to walk across the bridge and I justI did just that. Did pause halfway to catch my breath, but I made it across.
oops! I forgot to add, no longer do I walk as slow as a turtle.
