Went to Pikes Peak today, and WOW! We decided to drive the Wrangler up instead of taking the train, in order to allow us to go at our own pace. Turned out to be a great day

| Everyone made it to the Summit, where it was a brisk 41 degrees. |
 |
| Stopping at about 11,000 feet to get our Eskimo clothing on! |
Oh by the way, I got this updated for today, because as soon as we got back to the RV for lunch and a short break it began to pour, and it is still raining. So right now it is Laundry, Email, Blogging and Play Station 3.

Great pics! I'll have to call to see how Mom and Dad reacted to being atop one of the 14ers. :-)
Awesome pictures. Looks like Joshua is growing more everyday. Must me the higher elevation....
The comment didn't take my name, but it's me :-)
Yahoo! I made it to the top, Eskimos clothes and all. Least I was prepare and just froze a little bit-some folks in the party I think were colder than I was. I was okay at 14,000 + feet until I got out of the Jeep-then I was dizzy. I sat and rested on my walker-but I ended up back in the jeep-but I Did Make It To The Top.
